Amazingly, its dark timber furnishings, dusky pink walls, jazz soundtrack and three impossibly lithe 1940s poster girls (inspired by famed pin-up artist Alberto Vargas) are a calming backdrop. Inside are two levels of tables - mainly suitable for small groups or the lone eater - with one large central table and a semi-circular counter on the upper deck facing the door."
