Mietta's Review
Come for bacon and eggs, a sandwich, Gado Gado or just a coffee, as this place offers all things. The decor of laminex tables and plain walls is kept clean and the cosy booths make this a great place any time of the day. It serves the best laksa in town.

Courier Mail food and wine guide Queensland 2008 "If you miss Darwin's markets but you must have a laksa, get along to the Rendezvous"
CitySearch Christine Bond February 2006 "The decor is rather funky, 1960s style, with narrow, wooden booth seating, a scattering of tables and benches, and a couple of small tables outside in the courtyard. While the cafe can become quite cramped when full, the friendly and efficient service of the staff more than compensates."
