Mietta's Review
The entrance through the hotel foyer is a bit of a downer, then you come to a cocktail bar with a white grand piano played loudly. Spaciously set with plants, cane furniture and Japanese staff. A disappointing wine list but perhaps there is not a demand from the mainly tourist clientele here. Service is helpful and elaborate - salads are tossed table side and many old style gueridon dishes prepared. A couple of tantalisingly good items on the a la carte menu leave you frustrated with quality of the rest. Japanese Scallop Mille-feuille with king prawns layered between potato wafers, red capsicum and mint salad.
