Courier Mail Anooska Tucker-Evans, 13-12-2008 Score: Out Of 20) Food 13 Drinks 13 Service 14 Ambience 14 "When we arrived for a Sunday lunch, every table was either occupied or reserved. We managed to snare a table that wasn't booked for another hour and promised we would be out in time. The place sits on the farthest point of Elephant Rock at Currumbin Beach, offering uninterrupted views of the ocean from a massive deck on two sides of the building. The deck is full of stainless steel chairs and laminate tables - without doubt the favourite place to sit. Inside there are more tables with kitchen and service counter up one end and the bar down the other."
The Courier Mail, goodlife, 22/6/04,Jason Gregory,'the Vikings SLSC is a pub that's remained true to the idea that a drinking establishment should be the social hub of the local neighbourhood...From the kitchen the speciality is the avocado seafood platter and the shark fish steak is also popular.'
