Mietta's Review
This modern Italian restaurant, with spectacular views of the water, offers diners very good service and food with a true Italian taste. You can sit at the bar or at a table. An extensive wine list, with some vintage wines at reasonable prices. This very professionally run place is owned by Armando Percuoco's (Buon Ricordo in Sydney) brother, Tony. One of the best places on the Gold Coast. In 06 mains averaged $29.50.

Gourmet Traveller 2009 Australian Restaurant Guide "Beyond the glass, a flotilla of mega-yachts bobs self-importantly. There's serious money out there - and serious Neapolitan food and a wide-ranging wine list within this elegant restaurant"

Brisbane Times Score: 14/20 "Percuoco siblings Tony and Carlo run this swish Italian diner perched above the shimmering Broadwater and its expensive aquatic toys with aplomb"

Courier Mail food and wine guide Queensland 2008 Score: 16/20, Two Hats "This is more than a labour of love for the very Neapolitan Percuoco family who runs this Gold Coast hotspot. Chef Richard Burt works closely with Tony Percuoco, who is the big-picture man and also runs the pastificio (pasta factory) adjacent"

Gourmet Traveller 2008 Australian Restaurant Guide "Spectacular Broadwater views in a sunny dining room, immaculate service and superb Italian-influenced food; it's a real pleasure to dine at this Gold Coast institution"

Brisbane News Dining Out Guide 2007 "Every table across the split-level dining room has a view across the Broadwater to Southport and Surfers Paradise"

Gourmet Traveller 2007 Australian Restaurant Guide "Fellini has recently been refurbished - marble-tiled floors, blond timber chairs and formal table linen reflect the natural light pouring in through deep glass walls. The effect is crisp and summery, with all tables well placed for lovely views of the Gold Coast Broadwater and Marina, thanks to a split-level plan."

Courier Mail QWEEKEND Des Houghton, 20-2-07 Food 17 Wine 15 Ambience 16 Service 17 The Score 16 "What the bloke lacked in gaiety he made up for in professionalism, moving calmly and with the dexterity of a gymnast. He came from a time when lunching was a more leisurely, mannerly and civilised pastime. Plates arrived and disappeared at exactly the right moment. And, blow me down: here was a waiter who explained the menu as if he were proud of it and understood it. In an age when bored young waitresses with dead eyes parrot the menu like times tables, waiters like him are a rarity."

Gourmet Traveller 2006 Australian Restaurant Guide * "This is fine dining, Italian style. While there is nothing fusty in the Fellini experience, care and attention to detail shine in the fastidious service, the scope ofthe menu and wine list, and immaculately laid restaurant."

Courier-Mail Goodlife Restaurant Guide 2006 ** "Much has been said about this multi-award winning restaurant with an elegant and sophisticated decor and a million dollar view. Overlooking the very well stocked marina and across the broadwater"

Brisbane News Eating Out Guide 2006 "Owned by a family with a long linage of restaurateurs, this waterfront establishment has enviable marina views and a menu that boasts skilful combinations of fresh produce and pasta"

Courier-Mail Goodlife Restaurant Guide 05 "the restaurant produces some of the best Italian food in the state. It is not trattoria fare, but fine, considered cuisine that follows the Italian classics like carpaccio and vitello tonnato"

Brisbane News Dining Out Guide 2004 "The Percuocos are renowned for their restaurant savvy. Their professionally run fine diner offers fabulous views over the marina and serves traditional Italian food with a contemporary twist."

Courier-Mail Goodlife Restaurant Guide 05 "This is the Gold Coast's favourite Italian restaurant, ... The Percuoco family who steer this ship all have hospitality running through their veins and it shows in the intimate level of service and quality of food."

SMH GFG 2004 ,'Anything the Percuoco family does is like Italy in the mouth. When the wine list is this good, and the views this wide,it's even more magical.'

Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Guide Australia 2004 , Good vegetarian options, 1 Red Star, Excellent wine list,'work hard to create an ambience of casual elegance, but the place still carries all-encompassing Italian style.
