Mietta's Review
A fantastic little place, great coffee and smiles all round. Selling a larder full of deli goods and groceries. Eat in homemade pies or meatballs on mash. One table for six and a lot of designer wooden boxes to sit on. Very busy spot. In 06 mains averaged $12.

Courier Mail Alison Cotes, 02-9-2008 Score: Food: 14 Service: 14 Ambience: 13 Value For Money: 15 "The waiters are as cheeky as some of the customers, who encompass the whole range of New Farm's eclectic population, and you are as likely to encounter business suits as trackie dacks. It all makes for a quirky mix, and when the food is as interesting as the neighbourhood, it's a real drawcard for those looking for innovation combined with quality and comfort."

Courier Mail food and wine guide Queensland 2008 "Off the main beat but you're still likely to wait for a table on the weekend at this favourite haunt of joggers and those who love its unpretentious style and great coffee"

Courier Mail Sally Browne, 20-5-2007 "THE Little Larder in Moray St, New Farm, is one of Brisbane's not-so-well-kept secrets. It's hard to get a table at the gourmet cafe, which catches the morning sun and is a pleasant post-meal walk away from the Brisbane River. The Little Larder, which specialises in home-grown organic produce, has built its reputation on that important foundation of every day - breakfasts.

Courier-Mail Good Life Restaurant Guide 2006 "Bike riders, locals, and anyone who wants to get away from the Brunswick St strip make up the clientele of this popular deli-cafe. The big breakfast here contains the best home-made hash browns this side of New York"

Courier Mail Good Life Alison Cotes 7/9/04 "No matter how busy it seems, the service is always brisk and cheerful, and we've waited much longer for our food in cafes that are far less crowded, so for once the crowds aren't a hassle. And it's an ideal place for lunch during the week, especially with new owners and a new menu."
