The restaurant was due to move to Paddington in the first half of 06 - check their website for news. Retro decor - retro food it could only happen in New Farm. A slightly glitzy version of retro greets the diner but the overall feeling is of casual comfort. The food harks back to an earlier, simpler time and is rather well done - house made chicken Kiev crisply crumbed with garlic butter inside, prawn cocktail and fillet mignon. A refreshing change from modern Australian for jaded palates. In 06 mains averaged $18.
