Mietta's Review
Voted the most popular restaurant in Noosa where the dining is leisurely but the staff aren't, here they have no time to relax and watch the colorful yachts racing, the sun on the water or the Noosa beach parade. Oh no, they're busy serving abfab beer battered fiish 'n' chips, great pork sausages with mash and a range of good mains and desserts like a sensational lemon tart. With all that comes a broad ranging wine list at reasonable prices. Entrees $16, mains $27 extras $7. Dine within the pleasant casually set restaurant or choose the deck tables or bar.

Gourmet Traveller 2009 Australian Restaurant Guide "On the alternative strip to Hastings Street, this long, thin establishment across the road from the river is a favourite with locals and tourists alike. Chef Nathan Hall creates good, simple food that's big on flavour"

Courier Mail food and wine guide Queensland 2008 Score: 14.5/20 "Eight years here for the owners amounts to solid experience, and it shows in food that is dependably good time and again. Seafood and local produce feature on the menu and families are accommodated with a better-thanusual children's menu"

Gourmet Traveller 2008 Australian Restaurant Guide "The name is apt: you'll find it difficult to approach the dishes here with anything less"

Gourmet Traveller 2007 Australian Restaurant Guide "Gusto caters to the laid-back holiday and weekend crowd who amble along Gympie Terrace in search of something fresh and healthy. By day, the menu is simplified but offers everything from an overflowing BLT; steamed new-season asparagus served with chopped egg, capers and parmesan; roasted beet, pear and walnut salad or pistachio-crusted sardines to fresh Moreton Bay bugs in spaghetti finished with chilli, onion and garlic."

Courier-Mail Goodlife Restaurant Guide 2006 * "Positioned to make the most of the breezes from its slightly elevated position overlooking the Noosa River, this casual eatery has long been a favourite with locals and tourists alike." Brisbane News Eating Out Guide 2006 "Scottish lass Kay Callander does a brilliant job of ensuring diners are well looked after at the casual, yet classy, restaurant she runs with her talented chef-husband Nathan Hall."

Courier-Mail Goodlife Restaurant Guide 05 "The casual atmosphere, simple food using the best local ingredients and excellent service are perfect for a holiday dining experience on the Sunshine Coast. But they're given a run for their money by a view that's hard to beat."

Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Guide Australia 2004,'Tables rarely stay empty for long...This casual venue serves the kind of fresh, simple fare that's just right for lazy holiday meals eaten with gaze turned to the water...simply presented and full of honest flavour.'
