The tables line up neatly in both directions with a bar at the intersection. It seems to be perpetually open from early in the morning every day, including public holidays, until late in the evening. Service is prompt and perfunctory. On our lunchtime visit we stood at the door trying to catch one of the waiters, who may have been in training for one of the Beijing track and field events, but once we managed to get someone's attention things moved very rapidly - and so did we"
