Mietta's Review
Helped to start the new West End scene about a decade ago. Cosy, atmospheric, eclectic cafe with oriental garden setting. It can still hold its own among all the new competition.

Other published opinions

Courier Mail Anooska Tucker-Evans, "THREE Monkeys has become an institution at West End in Brisbane. From uni students enjoying a cheap feed, to businessmen indulging in a good quality cuppa, it's a place that attracts a crowd most of the time"

Courier Mail food and wine guide Queensland 2008 "A West End institution, this cafe has maintained its hold over a regular clientele and those who want to see what the fuss is about"

Courier Mail Alison Cotes, 23-1-2007 Score: Food: 13 Service: 13 Ambience: 17 "WITH its vaguely Middle Eastern decor and old wooden tables in the back courtyard, it seems to have sat forever on the Boundary St roundabout. But Ralph Stamos, who is now the active partner in the family business, swears that it's only been 12 years since he and his father took over Brisbane's beloved Three Monkeys Coffee and Tea House."

The grottiest pub in Bribane has changed from an ugly duckling to a beautiful swan or more accuately into a smart new pool hall

The Office Bar Queensland

Three Monkeys Coffee & Tea House Queensland
Cosy, atmospheric, eclectic cafe with oriental garden setting.

Tongue & Groove Queensland
Funky and fun atmosphere, the Tongue and Groove also serves imaginative and value for money food.

Tukka Queensland
If you want to eat native flora and fauna this is the place for you. The setting, having a faintly feral feeling, rather suits the 'bush' menu.

Zomba Cafe Bar Queensland
Sit inside this narrow shopfront or retreat to the rear courtyard. Good atmosphere, courteous service and a varied menu.
