It's worth tracking down, however. It's appealingly idiosyncratic, but doesn't dip too deeply into retro cliches. The walls are varnished sandblasted brick; the polished concrete floors a pale army green. Piano stools are bolted around the low counter and a long communal table, while the glass-topped fretwork tables are display units screwed to the wall."
