There is no doubt about it, if you are passing through, around or even slightly close to Beechworth, visiting the Beechworth bakery for a pie is a must. It's always packed with locals, and tourists but don't let that put you off, there are plenty of efficient and pleasant attendants on hand to help. With a vast range of breads, cakes, pies and pasties, it's a great place to visit if you are planning a picnic. Also at 513 High Street, Echuca (03) 5480 1057.
