Mietta's Review
It's like coming home, everybody who walks in knows everybody else, and is known by the staff. This great cafe in Church Street, overlooking the ground of St. Andrews Church, is a well-kept secret from the rest of the world; unfairly so, one would suggest. Very family friendly but the food can be a little inconsistent. Daily changing specials.

The Age Dani Valent, 13-11-2007 "I was expecting to enjoy dinner at The Pantry but it wasn't the food I was looking forward to. I thought I'd be entertained by improbably smooth Brighton brows, hair helmets and eavesdropped gossip from the marquees. I hoped I'd go home having learnt new shades of blonde and novel ways of saying "darling". I didn't anticipate liking the food so much and I certainly didn't think my schnitzel world would be turned upside down"
The Sunday Age, 17.02.99, author unknown "On warm days the sociable people of Brighton soak up the sun and sip lattes or chardonnay at this bustling corner cafe. The coffee is a ripper and so, too, are their shop-baked cakes."
