This is a wonderland of possibility. Primarily an Italian supermarket with aisles laden with more varieties of pasta than you knew existed; excellent olives, cheeses, cured and smoked meats, quality dried and tinned goods, wines, imported and local, liqueurs, and cleaning products, often cheaper than you'll find at the more commercial markets. The bar was primarily set up to promote the Mediterranean Wholesalers own secret blend coffee, specially imported from Italian, so the sweets, cakes and savoury pastries that are also available purely there as an accompaniment, and it is all very good. Excellent imported Italian cheese selection.
