Mietta's Review
A rustic setting in an old garage and very popular with Melbourne University students and staff and Carlton businesspeople, particularly the health conscious in need of a carbohydrate hit. Thresherman's offers a wide range of pastries, from bagels and croissants to pies, pasties and spinach and ricotta rolls, along with rich cakes for dessert. Thresherman's bread, which is not cheap, is baked by Carlton Ciabatta which also supplies Coles and receives mixed reviews. Probably the only Carlton coffee shop offering both decaffeinated coffee and soy milk.
