Mietta's Review
If caffeine is your drug, then Doctor Java is your cafe. Don't expect slick, bronze buttoned italian service here. Breaking away from the European cafe style, Doctor Java pays homage to the tropical coffee growing regions of Ethiopia, Papua new Guinea, columbia and Brazil. With communal tables in the centre of the room, world music playing, and a hammock hanging from the ceiling, it is a truely relaxing, and comfortable environement to enjoy tea, coffee, solitude or conversation. Doctor Java's house blend is the Moka Premium made up of a combination of Arabica beans from a dozen countries. An extensive range of coffee making equipment is able to be purchased here. As well as made to order blends of coffee, with 250gr packets of the house blend a favourite amoungst regulars.
