Mietta's Review Set on the ground floor of an old bank, preconceived notions of staid and stuffy are dispelled with the warmth of the welcome and the freshness of 2 Face's approach to service and food. The menu presents a Carmen Miranda's hat of flavours, dancing along the edge of the new and the bizarre, and when a dish works it can be sublime. This is one of Geelong's special occasion restaurants, favoured amongst the young, the culinary-adventurous and the cashed-up.

Age Good Food Guide 2008 "The two faces of chef Simon Yarham and his front-of-house partner Tim Mitchell hang above the cosy bar, adding a homeliness to the warmhued dining room of this former bank"
The Age Good Food Guide 2006 score 13/20 "If chef Simon Yarham's menu were a painting, it would contain elaborate flourishes, busy curlicues, curious daubs of texture and, above all, obsessive attention to detail. His spirited approach to food may faze the less adventurous, yet others will delight in Yarham's artistry."
The Foodies' Guide 2004,Allan Campion & Michele Curtis,'Adventurous and skilful,2 Faces is not afraid to have a go.Try dinners from Tuesday to Sunday for some Mod Oz food.'
AGFG 2004, score 14/20
The Age, Epicure Escape, Country fare, Necia Wilden, 29/10/02, Score 13.5/20. "An odd appealing mix of wacky menu, professional service and occasionallt excellent food."
