Mietta's Review Groovy wasn't a word one normally associated with Geelong but Tonic is one of the places that are changing that. Warm retro feeling, lounges, pan-Asian mod Oz food, good cocktails and open hours to suit.
Other published opinions
The Age Cheap Eats 2005 "IT'S all about choice at this retro lounge-bar - both of what you eat and where you eat it. Slick leather chairs are the place to snack on a pan-Asian yum cha platter" The Age Cheap Eats 2004 "THIS hole-in-the-wall cafe is crammed with banquettes, retro lighting, indie band posters and photographs of historic Elwood. Quite where they fit the kitchen is anybody's guess, but the breakfast menu is wall-to-wall goodies"
