Mietta's Review
This cafe/foodstore makes soups, stews and pastas to take home and reheat as well as providing a nice atmosphere in which to consume their breakfasts and other cafe fare. Menu changes often and often provides new and interesting dishes.

Other published opinions

The Age Cheap Eats 2008 "If you're addicted to Replete's celebrated ricotta hotcakes with lemon curd and strawberries, then breathe easy - they're still here and they're still fab"

The Age Cheap Eats 2007 "In the caffeine desert of Hawthorn's private school belt, Replete is an oasis. Its loyal, largely local clientele cruise in for breakfasts cooked with care: perhaps eggs, sweet pepper and onion bathed in bagna cauda (a Piedmontese garlic and anchovy puree), juicy omelettes with whipped feta and mint, or the justly famed ricotta hotcakes, featherlight and slathered with lemon curd and strawberries."

The Age Cheap Eats 2006 The name sums it up: a stockpile of ready-made and rapidly assembled goodies guarantees this Hawthorn hub remains, well, replete with hungry customers.

The Age Cheap Eats 2005 "IF you lived near Replete and had the funds, you'd rarely visit your own kitchen. Well, maybe the microwave. This daytime place offers beautiful brekkies"

The Age Cheap Eats 2004 "IF only every suburb could boast a local like this. Breakfast can be refined (fruit compote with organic yoghurt) or formidable (eggs with slow-roasted tomatoes, shrooms, spinach, hash browns and beans)."

The Age, Agenda, 14/3/04, Roslyn Grundy,'At weekends it's packed with breakfasting singles, couples, mates and families. The menu suits them all. Anklebiters get busy with Coco Pops and sprinkle-covered baycinos while adults tuck into liberal serves of chorizo-studded Spanish omelette'

Herald Sun, Citystyle, 17/2/04, Donna Coutts, Score 16/20,'Fresh, tasty, wholesome meals, snacks and sweets to eat in or take home.Mum never made it quite this good.'
