Mietta's Review
Arriverderci Aroma is nestled on the ground floor of the Melbourne Terrace building fronting on to Queen St just a short walk from the market. It's a modern and comfortable place to break bread. Terrazzo floors, wood panelled walls, a comfy black upholstered bench runs along one wall. The shiny black bar is home to a vase full of some seriously big paper flowers. They look like props from Alice in Wonderland. Quite a mix of people come here for lunch, business people grabbing a quick bite, shoppers from the Queen Vic corall their bags around their legs while they eat and American tourists pore over maps while they mix their pasta. The waiting staff buzz around and the service is brisk and efficient. The menu here is pretty straight forward. For those with a sweet tooth there is a well stocked refrigerated cake cabinet next to the bar.
