Popular Indian restaurant with a dedicated clientele. Generous portions of carefully cooked and richly flavoured food can be enjoyed with live Indian music. The service is good and the environment is pleasant.

The glaring lights, tapestried walls, balding banquettes and yawning space promise very little but somehow create a cosy and convivial atmosphere in which to enjoy sturdy and reliable Indian cuisine. The food will never knock your socks off (though some dishes are hot enough to leave them down around your ankles) but it goes down well with a raft of Indian beers like Kingfisher and Royal Challenge"
