Mietta's Review
In spite of its smart look and turned on staff Limoncello still does a lot of babycinos. The parents and others less fortunate make do with grown-ups cafe fare including a mind numbing selection of breads to use as bases for all manner of fillings.

The Age Cheap Eats 2008 "Sometimes you've gotta go to the end of the line for great coffee, and this kid-friendly spot opposite Sandy Station knows how to brew smooth, creamy java"

Herald Sun Donna Coutts, 23-12-06 "Coffee ($3) here is excellent; so is the chocolate milkshake ($5). And so is the relaxed, stay-all-morning vibe. We're here an hourand-a-half. Two families on the footpath are here longer than that. No one minds and that's nice."

The Age Cheap Eats 2007 "Limoncello inspires intense devotion among Sandy's pram- and dogwielding set. Maybe because it plies them with consistently good coffee as they laze away the weekend at the rustic outdoor tables; or, inside, devour French toast topped with creamy yoghurt, cinnamon and grilled peaches as their kids play with frothy babycinos."

The Age Cheap Eats 2006 Don't be surprised if you find yourself affected by the post-lunch linger, such As the charm of this bayside eatery.

The Age Cheap Eats 2005 "WITH its dark timber trappings, grey walls and slick corner bar, Limoncello looks all grown up. So why are so many thirty-somethings ordering babycinos and chips?"

The Age Cheap Eats 2004 "THE Limoncello crowd confirms its mass appeal: bayside babes lunching alfresco, thirtysomethings with tots sliding over chokkie brown banquettes and students swigging Gravity lattes at dark-wood tables."

The Age, Epicure, 28/10/03, Matt Preston,' a warm Itailian inspired eatery...Service won't be flash but admirably appropriate for a place of this standing-local,friendly and thoughtful'
