Mietta's Review
An architect is one of the owners of the Arkibar and it shows in the very stylish decor and in the name. The place stands out in an area of dreary office blocks. Near the Channel Seven carpark it offers a welcome alternative to staff canteens and the local take-aways. It remains a haven in an other wise barren neck of the woods. The service is quick andfriendly and the Italian food is consistently good. One of the owners is Luca Laruso of Caffe Latte. Customers include the architects in the office above, channel Seven personalities, executives, directors and writers in the area. The odd famous face can be spotted from the front decking. this is primarily a daytime venue but on Fridays the Arkibar stays open for drinks with an assortment of canapes.

Cheap Eats 2004, Sleek and discreet, the semi-industrial Arkibar pays respect to all its customers. Staff in logoed jackets greet office-workers as warmly as the stars of screen from nearby Channel 7.
