Mietta's Review
60's ski lodge decor, waiters in Hawaiian print shirts and casual, straight forward menu that encompasses influences from around the globe as well as offers healthy options. The Blue Train was the first of its kind of mega-cafe that successfully caters for the lunch, dinner, pre and post theatre diners, and has been copied by it's original owners at Automatic and by many in and beyond Melbourne. The views of the city of Melbourne be it during the day or all lit-up at night are sensational.

The Age Cheap Eats 2004 "Blue Train sometimes feels more nightclub than restaurant. Then there's the arty mood lighting, wellstocked bar and peak-hour table queue."
