Mietta's Review
All the breakfast dishes loved by the smart citizens of St Kilda ar found here plus the usual bread based items, cakes and coffee. There's a nice little tree shaded courtyard and very pleasant service.

Other published opinions

The Age Cheap Eats 2008 "Sleek, sepia-toned Inkr7 is pitched at a discerning crowd: pancetta replaces bacon, and Danish smaligoods, boutique muesli and Phillippa's muffins reflect a dedication to quality ingredients"

The Age Cheap Eats 2007 "Wood and mocha tones may draw in a 'professional creative' clientele, who charge up on Genovese coffee and Husk teas, but inkr7 doesn't rely on looks (and caffeine) alone: Coco Pops and Vegemite pide round out a breakfast menu that includes poached eggs on a pesto mayocovered pide with salmon and spinach."

The Age Cheap Eats 2006 Some might call Inkr7's service friendly. Others might find it overly casual. But there's no doubt this cafe is a good spot to unwind, read the papers and refuel.

The Age Epicure Matt Preston 7/6/05 "Five minutes later I return to our narrow, modern table in this slight labyrinthine space, past a lounge area of low padded stools. Outside on the Inkerman Street pavement smokers perch on three-sided orange cubes and drink Genovese Super Brazil blend or Gravity teas, unaware of the tumble I've taken as they mull over their choice of Whisk and Pin muesli or a bowl of Coco Pops."

The Age Cheap Eats 2005 "EVERY suburb has its trendy cafe these days. Who needs St Kilda? Well, there's life in the old dog yet. This wonderful little oasis of calm is a model contemporary drop-in spot, offering 21st century breakfasts (several varieties of fancy muesli and stewed fruit for grown-ups"

The Age Cheap Eats 2004, "Somewhere we highly recommend,'Brownies, muffins and cookies tempt from the counter and the service is so friendly, you'll wonder who took the snark out of St Kilda. However, the urban creative clientele and chocolate-vanilla interior are suitably suave.A leafy courtyard is a fine-weather bonus."
