Mietta's Review
Oozing St Kilda attitude, this is the where the cool come for their fix of 'the scene', coffee, and a good breakfast. On the weekends it's everything buffed, tanned and minimally clothed, during the week its more accessible, which means that the average punter can also take advantage of a reasonably priced menu. Favourites are French toast with bacon and maple syrup.

The Age Cheap Eats 2008 "Clinging to the Acland Street of old, this still-dapper stalwart lets you cruise the highprofile corner without moving"

The Age Cheap Eats 2007 "On weekday mornings, the foot-traffic between Leroy's coffee window and the No. 96 tram can be frantic, but those with time to spare can take a pew at this popular orange-and-brown noshery for a more leisurely start to the day."

The Age Cheap Eats 2006 Swap some coins for a cut-above coffee at this casual cafe. If you simply can't stop, order one to go from the walk-by window. Otherwise there are teeny tables crowding the pavement and more space within.

The Age Cheap Eats 2005 "STEP out of the Acland Street mayhem and into this corner cafe, where you'll find a different kind of bustle, as staff glide from table to table keeping local fashionistas well fuelled with coffee."
