Ah Mu Has CLOSED For Business

Mietta's Review
Ah Mu looks at Australian culture from a (mostly) Malaysian angle. Its strength is its food, which is done with taste and care. It straddles the cultural divide presenting refined Asian dishes in a European manner in a modern Australian setting. The food is plated with the sauce under the meat and eaten with a knife and fork. The question for the diner is whether the two cultures work together and if not, which one presents the bill - for the smart modern Australian cafe it aspires to being, the price is fair for the quality, for an ethnic eatery (which it is not) it could seem expensive. It attracts a clientele that is Australian, a majority of which are middle aged women.
