Gaddis Hong Kong

Gaddi's a Hong Kong institution is an excellent restaurant which is steeped in the French tradition though still part of Asia. It is also a classic, grand hotel restaurant where one can almost imagine that Auguste Escoffier is still Cesar Ritz's chef. At Gaddi's the difficult guest is King or Queen. Their gastonomic whims are catered for with taste and discretion. It is this, more than the good traditional French cooking that makes Gaddi's such a special place to dine. Much of the produce is airfreighted from Rungis, the great Parisian wholesale market. The setting is grand luxe and, as the kitchen photographs show, silver plate is omnipresent. To experience it, one of the last of it's kind, save and visit.
